We’re happy to announce our latest title, Lone Echo!

Grab, push, and glide your way through an immersive first-person 360° science fiction experience where you can not only reach out and touch interactive environments, but can effortlessly soar through them with incredible 1:1 hand-based zero-gravity movement. Lone Echo includes both a highly-interactive single player story and an online competitive multiplayer virtual sport, all set in an amazingly detailed 22nd century world of advanced robotics and incredible orbital facilities.

In Lone Echo’s single player story, you’ll be transported to an advanced mining facility within the rings of Saturn, complete with a detailed space station, expansive open-vacuum environments, and interactive space equipment. Taking on the role of “Jack”—and advanced artificial intelligence with a state-of-the-art synthetic body—you’ll help Captain Olivia Rhodes solve an increasingly threatening mystery as you use futuristic tools, clever problem solving, and interactive dialogue to engage with the world around you. Taking advantage of the Oculus Touch controllers and full 360° gameplay, Lone Echo lets you take a hands-on approach to exploring space unlike anything you’ve ever played before.

TwitchCon: Charity Decathlon with Deformers!

On October 1st, Deformers will be arriving at TwitchCon in sunny San Diego to take part in Tiltify’s Charity Decathlon!

The event is located within the Charity Plaza and will be livestreamed on Twitch from 1:00-2:30pm PT. Tiltify has coordinated with multiple sponsors and content creators to raise money in support of these charities:

The livestream will feature your following favorite content creators battling it out in Deformers; the player who wins the tournament will win an extra donation for the charity they represent!

Ready At Dawn: 13th Anniversary

This past Friday, the Ready At Dawn team gathered together in our communal kitchen to witness and celebrate the 13th anniversary of our studio! After 90+ developers sang a heartfelt (though off-key) rendition of “Happy Birthday”, Ru and Andrea blew out the candles, then Andrea cut the cake while Ru supervised and offered moral support.

After stuffing ourselves silly with ice cream, chips, guacamole, and nacho cheese, we broke out the board games and tasty beverages then settled in to spend a Friday evening with our friends at the studio (which is one of the best ways to spend a Friday, if you ask us).

Longtime Blizzard Entertainment® COO joins Ready At Dawn;
Company expands business operations to Austin, Texas


IRVINE, California – June 8, 2015 – Ready At Dawn, an internationally acclaimed independent
video game developer, announced today the strategic hire of Blizzard Entertainment’s COO, Paul
Sams, as Chief Executive Officer. Effective immediately, Sams will direct the company’s
business operations and global growth initiatives. Ru Weerasuriya, Ready At Dawn’s co-Founder
and current CEO, will now serve as President and Chief Creative Officer. Additionally, the
company has expanded its operations to include a business hub in Austin, Texas.
